A community UI/UX knowledge-base skill: local CSV data (styles, palettes, font pairings, UX rules, chart types, stacks) plus a Python search script that produces a design system before the agent writes the page.
Each prompt shows a fixed 2×2: Codex native, Codex + skill, Claude Code native, Claude Code + skill. Click a screenshot to see the full page. Install and use ↓
Strengths
What the skill's own documentation says it is good at, with a link to where it says so. These are claims, not results: compare them with the pages below.
Searchable local design data for web, mobile and desktop UI (styles, product palettes, font pairings, UX guidelines, chart types, stacks) source
Industry-specific colour palettes and reasoning rules that generate a design system per product type source
Chart type recommendations for dashboards and analytics source
Checked against the skill text after the v0 runs (not decided in advance). Quotes are from the repo at the reference commit; the gallery runs the CLI 2.15.0 output, whose description is the same.
This skill is generated for each agent by its own CLI (ui-ux-pro-max-cli@2.15.0). The gallery runs used that output.
Claude Code
Install
npx ui-ux-pro-max-cli@2.15.0 init --ai claude
Writes .claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/ in the current project.
Use
# interactive
/ui-ux-pro-max <your task>
# or end any request with
Use the ui-ux-pro-max skill.
# headless, as in the gallery runs
claude -p '<your task> Use the ui-ux-pro-max skill.'
To make it available in every project, put the folder in ~/.claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/ instead. Claude Code can also load the skill by itself when a request matches the skill's description.
Codex
Install
npx ui-ux-pro-max-cli@2.15.0 init --ai codex
Writes .agents/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/ in the current project.
Use
# interactive: mention it, or pick it from /skills
$ui-ux-pro-max <your task>
# headless, as in the gallery runs
codex exec -s workspace-write '<your task> Use the $ui-ux-pro-max skill.'
To make it available in every project, put the folder in ~/.agents/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/ instead. Codex can also pick the skill by itself, based on its description.
Notes
Needs python3 (standard library only) to run its search scripts.
The upstream README recommends npm i -g ui-ux-pro-max-cli; the gallery uses npx with a pinned version instead, so nothing is installed globally.
