Everything a rotation needs. Nothing a spreadsheet can't replace.

One place to decide who's on call, what reaches them, and what the next person needs to know.

Rotation builder

Set up daily, weekly or follow-the-sun rotations across time zones, and preview every shift before it goes live.

Swaps and overrides

Request a swap in two clicks. The team lead approves it straight from email or chat, and the schedule updates itself.

Escalation policies

Multi-step escalation by push notification, SMS and phone call, so an alert keeps moving until someone owns it.

Handoff notes

A structured note at every shift change, with open incidents carried over automatically.

Calendar sync

Shifts appear in Google Calendar, Outlook or any iCal client, and stay current when a swap is approved.

Fairness report

On-call hours per person, including nights and weekends, so the load stays even across the team.

From first alert to first handoff in an afternoon.

Three steps, and you only do the first two once.

  1. Connect your alerting tools

Point any monitoring tool at a webhook, or pick one of 40 built-in integrations.

  2. Build a rotation and a policy

Create a rotation and an escalation policy for each service you run.

  3. Hand off at the end of each shift

Rotaline reminds the outgoing person to write the note and notifies the incoming one.

When the rota lives in one place, pages stop falling through the cracks.

Can I import my existing schedule from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Upload a CSV or paste rows straight from your spreadsheet, and Rotaline matches columns to people, dates and shift times. You review the imported rotation before anyone is notified.

What happens if nobody acknowledges an alert?

The alert moves to the next step of the service's escalation policy, for example from the primary to the secondary to the team lead. If every step is exhausted, the policy repeats and the incident is flagged in the next handoff note.

Do you charge for SMS and phone calls?

No. SMS and phone-call alerts are included in the per-user price of the Team and Business plans. The Free plan sends push and email alerts.

Can contractors or people outside my company be on a rotation?

Yes. Invite them by email as guests: they can take shifts, receive alerts and write handoff notes, but they only see the rotations they belong to. Guests count as users on paid plans.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days of the Team plan with no credit card required. When the trial ends, choose a paid plan or move to Free; your rotations and history are kept either way.
