Know who's on call. Hand off without losing the thread.

Rotaline builds fair on-call rotations, routes alerts to the right person, and turns every shift change into a written handoff.

Scheduling, alerting and handoffs in one place

Retire the spreadsheet and the pinned chat message. Everything about who's on call, and what they need to know, lives here.

Rotation builder

Set up daily, weekly or follow-the-sun rotations across time zones. Rotaline shows each shift in the local time of whoever is covering it.

Swaps and overrides

Request a swap in two clicks. Your team lead approves it from email or chat, and the schedule updates for everyone.

Escalation policies

Build multi-step escalation by push notification, SMS and phone call. If the first person doesn't answer, the next one hears about it.

Handoff notes

Every shift change gets a structured note. Open incidents carry over automatically, so nothing waits on someone's memory.

Calendar sync

Your shifts show up in Google Calendar, Outlook or any iCal client, and they update when the rota changes.

Fairness report

See on-call hours per person, with nights and weekends counted separately, so the load stays even.

Set up in an afternoon

Most teams have their first rotation live on the day they sign up.

  1. Connect your alerts

Connect your alerting tools with a webhook or one of 40 built-in integrations.

  2. Build your rotations

Build a rotation and an escalation policy for each service.

  3. Hand off

Hand off at the end of each shift. Rotaline reminds the outgoing person and notifies the incoming one.

Quieter nights, faster answers

When every alert reaches someone who knows they're on call, fewer pages slip through.

Questions before you switch

Something else on your mind? Email help@rotaline.example and a person on our support rotation will reply.

Can I import my existing schedule from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Upload a CSV or paste rows from Google Sheets or Excel, and Rotaline matches names and dates to a rotation. You can check every shift before the schedule goes live.

What happens if nobody acknowledges an alert?

The alert moves to the next step of your escalation policy, such as the secondary or the team lead, after the wait time you set. If it reaches the last step, Rotaline repeats the policy until someone acknowledges.

Do you charge for SMS and phone calls?

No. SMS and phone alerts are included in the Team and Business plans with no per-message fees, in every country we support.

Can contractors or people outside my company be on a rotation?

Yes. Invite anyone with an email address as a guest. Guests count as users on your plan and can only see the rotations they're part of.

How does the free trial work?

You get every Business feature for 14 days, and you don't need a credit card to start. When the trial ends, pick a plan or move to Free. Your schedules are kept either way.
